LynTune Privacy Policy

This policy applies to LynTune, published by Brooklyn Rose Ludlow doing business as LynCo ("LynCo," "we," or "us"). It explains what LynTune accesses, what it stores, and what it does not collect or share.

Summary

LynTune does not collect personal data. The app has no user accounts, advertising, tracking, analytics, or telemetry SDKs. LynTune does not sell personal data.

Microphone and audio

LynTune requests microphone access solely to analyze musical pitch in real time. In the public release, microphone audio is processed locally on your device. LynTune does not record or retain that audio and does not transmit it to LynCo or any third party.

You can deny or revoke microphone permission through your operating-system settings. The app cannot perform live tuning without an available audio input.

Information LynTune does not collect

LynTune does not collect or transmit your name, email address, location, contacts, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, usage history, microphone audio, recordings, files, or musical activity. The app contains no LynCo-operated network service.

Information stored on your device

LynTune may store small app preferences, such as your A4 reference pitch and tuning tolerance, in the app's local storage. LynCo cannot access these preferences. You can remove them by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app. Your operating system may handle device backups according to your platform settings and the platform provider's privacy policy.

Operating systems and app stores

Apple, Google, Microsoft, and your operating system may independently process installation, purchase, diagnostic, or store-account information under their own privacy policies. LynTune does not add an analytics or crash-reporting service to that platform activity. LynCo never receives or stores full payment-card details.

Support email

If you email support@lyncodsp.com, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use it to answer your request and improve our products. We do not add you to a marketing list without consent. Support correspondence is retained only as reasonably needed to provide support and maintain ordinary business records; you may request deletion by emailing the same address, subject to legal retention obligations.

This website

This static website uses no cookies, forms, advertising, or analytics. It is hosted by GitHub Pages. GitHub states that it logs and stores visitors' IP addresses for security purposes. That infrastructure processing is governed by GitHub's privacy statement. LynCo does not receive those IP-address logs or add visitor-level analytics; GitHub may provide aggregate site traffic statistics.

Security and retention

Keeping pitch analysis on-device and operating no LynTune data server limits the personal data exposed to LynCo. Because LynTune sends no app data to LynCo, LynCo has no app-collected personal data to retain or delete.

Changes

We may update this policy if LynTune's behavior changes. We will revise the date above when we make a material change. A feature that introduces data collection or transmission will require corresponding app and store disclosures before release.
